The company behind that technology, Biofilta has now released a range of home systems that harness all their know how to allow you to grow your own organic veggies, quickly and easily.

Inverloch 3996 caught up with Tad Hendry & Jess Cuman from Adapt Design Group this week, to check out their stunning new 8.7 star build at The Cape in Cape Paterson and to find out how they set about designing a family home that for the same cost as a traditional build, could eliminate energy costs for the owner and potentially provide an annual rebate from their electricity provider. Now who doesn't like the sound of that!
Australia's most sustainable residential project, The Cape, just down the coast from Inverloch, will be launching two super sustainable homes that have eliminated their energy bills, as part of the inaugural Cape Harvest Festival on Sunday 11th March
The Keeping Kids On Track Fun Run today in Kilcunda was exactly that, heaps of fun. The run aims to raise funds for local clubs and youth development, in memory of Leslie McKay who was a librarian, and English and Literature teacher it the Wonthaggi Secondary College; she was a highly regarded youth mentor, and an advocate and inspiration to many.
Inverloch would have to be Australia's most convenient town for a jazz festival, with three relaxed venues in the centre of town and spread out over 4 days - it's the perfect Jazz vacation. Celebrating it's 25th year in Inverloch this labour day long weekend 9 -12th March, it's shaping up to be a another great event, featuring over forty brilliant bands and acts.
It's always great to see local businesses collaborating. It's amazing what can be achieved with a little teamwork. If you were one of the lucky ones who managed to secure a ticket for the Tamsin's Table / Dirty Three Wines / Events by Kate gathering in Inverloch this January, then you will know exactly what we mean :-)
Want to wake up to the sounds of the waves crashing on a glorious surf beach only 300 metres from your front door? Worried that the Victorian holiday home dream is slowly being priced out of your reach? Is it really still possible to own an Inverloch holiday home for under $100,000?
One of the best things about being hired to photograph stunning coastal architecture is meeting the owners who made it all happen. Learning first hand what drove them to create something so special and unique in the first place, the choices they made and what they learned along the way. We're always looking for new design inspiration at Inverloch3996 and shooting one of the founders of Mookah and their personally styled home was an assignment we were really looking forward to as we had a sneaking suspicion there would be some very unique design features. We were not wrong.
The Inverloch Classic Wooden Dinghy Regatta is about displaying classic wooden sailing dinghies both on and off the water, many of which were once common but are now becoming rare. By focusing on the beauty of the wood crafting, rigging and history of these boats it is hoped people will appreciate them more fully and participate in their restoration and conservation. Over the Australia Day Weekend the Regatta also highlights aspects of Inverloch’s unique seaside history.
