JUST SOME OF THIS YEAR'S FEATURED PERFORMERSSARAH MACLAINEAustralian Singer/songwriter Sarah Maclaine constantly delights audiences with her rich, velvety voice, its beautiful tone and fantastic vocal range. If you happen upon one of her performances you feel drawn in. She's one of my favourite singers on the show. Love that voice! TONY GOULD TRIOPianist and composer Tony Gould is one of Australia’s most respected musicians. His career has embraced many styles of music, not least jazz and other improvisatory musics in addition to traditional and contemporary classical musics. He gives many concerts each year and for 50 years he has been involved in an extraordinary number of recording projects both as pianist and composer and has been at the forefront of music education in Australia via various tertiary institutions in Melbourne and throughout Australia. DR. CRASK & HIS SWINGING ELIXIRWhatever ails you, a dose of Dr Crask and his Swingin' Elixir is guaranteed to get you on your feet. Playing swing tunes predominantly of the 30's and 40's, the Swingin' Elixir kicks out the dancing tunes with Lindy Hop in mind. You'll hear songs that were performed by the likes of Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Prima just to name a few. The 4 piece rhythm section, and 3 piece horn section, together with the silky smooth vocals of Jen Salisbury.
