The Southern Business Women’s Network (SBWN) has some big plans in the works with a special speakers’ event guaranteed to inspire and expand the horizons of both men and women on a personal and professional level. You won’t want to miss a single minute. Today Inverloch 3996 sits down with Megan Vuillermin the President of the SBWN to discuss the event. What was your inspiration for the event? Four years ago the SBWN held a full day marketing workshop and it was a great success. We felt it was the right time to present something similar and together a few of our committee members discussed a vision, mission and strategic plan for the year ahead. A Day Of Inspiration has come about due to our desire to offer our community an event that would usually only be available in Melbourne. Tell us about the speakers? It begins with Peter Thurin, the Keynote Speaker. His topic, “Be the best you can be…” is guaranteed to be dynamic and uplifting as he focuses on the role of excellence and direct action in one’s business and daily life. What are some of the other topics? Also on the schedule is Sue Barret whose focus is “Selling is everybody’s business and everybody lives by selling something.” There is a lot of truth in her words to which thousands of businesses worldwide can attest. Her strategies and vision have been implemented in countless enterprises, many of whom have undergone her special training program. Who else is on board? There’s more. Thought leader Sadhana Smiles will speak on “I want what she’s having.” She is an engaging and entertaining speaker and publisher who comments frequently on her industry. Last but not least Chris Helder will hold the floor on “the power of influence…” He knows the ropes of leading a team and winning top accounts by becoming an influencer of persuasion. What is SBWN all about? SBWN is a network of enterprising women from an array of professions who share an interest in mutual communication and relationship building. Involvement in the various committees will yield personal satisfaction while helping others is always a major goal. Getting involved is the best way to network and build friendships. It is all about camaraderie and collaboration as they say. When and where is the event?
