It is held over the Labour Day weekend March 11-14, 2016. It’s an outstanding festival full of great jazz for a great cause in a great place. With any festival of music comes the extra license to walk with that spring in your step, possibly spontaneously burst into a public twirl and, when idle, to tap your feet, and finger click to the rhythms that surround you. How will this year’s event be different from last? This year an even brighter and broader spectrum of jazz to suit a myriad of palettes including funk, latin, contemporary, and traditional. We have a myriad of sponsors, musicians, and volunteers on hand to make it very special. While the Jazz Festival is an amazing feat in longevity, this year’s program will be fresh and alive. How can people buy tickets?Ticketing is pain free through Ticketebo. What’s more, you can buy 4 weekend tickets in one order and receive a free bottle of wine. Why not get a group of friends together. We will see a great turnout of jazz fans so get booked early. The website has a new look. It is easier to read, navigate, and print off forms. We hear there is fundraising afoot? The festival is a not for profit, community based event that started in 1994. Over its 22 years the festival has helped to raise well over $300,000 and has been a platform for many other organisations like The Lions, Rotary, and The Inverloch Surf Life Saving Club. This year’s festival will be run to raise funds for The Inverloch Men's Shed. The town becomes alive as jazz kicks off with outstanding bands and musicians to support this effort.
