Nina originally fell in love with Cape Paterson as a teenager and after a career overseas in fashion she returned home to Australia, and then to the beach town she loved. We talked to Nina about how she moved to Cape Paterson in her 60’s and Nina shared her hidden gems on Cape and how you too, can make your new adventure your 'own'.
 If you're looking for great value with a laid back beach town vibe, then you can't look past Cape Paterson as one of Victoria's best kept beach town secrets. What makes Cape Paterson so amazing is that it has the vibe of a seaside town with two surf beaches - a brand new and stunning Surf Life Saving Club that has just recently completed construction and a tavern to enjoy a summer ale, while the house costs are not going to price you out of the market when compared to other coastal towns.  We've often wondered about this gorgeous building perched on a hilltop on Nardoo Street, Cape Paterson and were thrilled to get the opportunity to shoot it for local building firm Everstyle Builders and to meet the extraordinary artist behind it, Heather Towns. 
Earlier today, we visited a home in Cape Paterson built with sustainable design principles. We sat down with Tad from the Adapt Design Group, the building designer, to learn more about the key features of sustainable living and life in Cape Paterson. Tad brings a deep-seated belief in the power of unique, common sense, and energy efficient design that enhances lifestyle and well-being.
